Overview

Easily traverse the desert dunes or get lost in a snowy winter wonderland on fat tyres. Don’t be fooled by the bulkiness of the Fatbike, these bikes are built to take on extreme conditions without drama. The Scoop Single features a SRAM NX/SX Eagle 1 x 12 speed drivetrain, giving the rider a very low gear and allowing you to climb up almost anything, loose rock or slippery slopes. The carbon fork and big volume tyres will absorb trail bumps. To keep the muck out of your cables and for both function and aesthetics, the Scoop Single has internal cable routing.

Rack, Fender and Kickstand Mounts

There is an integrated kickstand mount in the left rear chainstay. The addition of a kickstand is neat and uncomplicated. We suggest using the Speedkit kickstand for e-bikes/fatbikes. The disc Brake calliper mounted inside rear triangle to protect it from environmental damage, while also acting like a brace, improving strength around the dropout and kickstand mount. The frame features mounting points for a rear fender and pannier racks. Scoop can easily be set up as an adventure or touring bike.

Short chainstays coupled with updated geometry means that the Scoop is more nimble through corners, yet retains overall stability.

SBC Carbon Rigid Fork

The Scoop Single features a thru axle SBC Alloy rigid fork. Matchy-matchy colour and alloy tubing profiles. The fat wheels provide bump absorption so that even though a rigid fork, the bike does not feel harsh. A rigid fork is also virtually maintenance free, so great for peace of mind, remote adventures.

Tapered Headtube

A Tapered headtube increases front-end stiffness and directly influences steering feel and precision. This also means that the Stride range is compatible with all modern forks, if you would want to upgrade your suspension.

I have owned a single fat for about five years now. And I can say it is the right all-terrain bicycle — I usually ride in single tracks, gravel and dunes.
The pros are the versatility, fun factor and low maintenance.
The rider will need bit more of pedal uphill and get used to the momentum of the wheel, during the jumps.
Love my bike and recommends Silverback!
