Overview

Outgrown your 24" wheels and ready to start shredding trails? The Stride 26 Comp has been tailored to suit the requirements of a smaller rider, adult or teenager. The Stride 26 Comp is fitted with a Suntour XCE Suspension fork that has 100mm travel and will soak up all the bumps on the trail but also equipped with integrated fender and rack mounts making it a great choice for commuting. 26” wheels make for a quick accelerating nimble ride, yet compact overall size, great for keeping your bike indoors or taking it on a train when commuting. Also ideal for shorter adults or bike touring, where 27.5” and 29” tyres can be difficult to find in remote areas, 26” tyres are still widely available.

Hydro-formed 6061 Alloy frame

Stride Comp features a brand new frame focused on the sport XC market. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimising weight and excess material use. QR 135mm dropouts.

Kickstand mount

There is an integrated kickstand mount in the left rear chainstay. The addition of a kickstand is neat and uncomplicated. We suggest using the Speedkit kickstand for non-e-bikes. The disc Brake calliper mounted inside the rear triangle to protect it from environmental damage, while also acting as a brace, improving strength around the dropout and kickstand mount.

Low Standover

Lower standover means that the Stride can be ridden by both male and female riders with more room for movement. This improves control and confidence on technical sections. Also allows for a longer dropper post to be used.

Pop Geometry

Position of Power -Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedalling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.

Tapered headtube

A Tapered headtube increases front-end stiffness and directly influences steering feel and precision. This also means that the Stride range is compatible with all modern forks if you would want to upgrade your suspension.
