Overview

Designed for novice cross-country riders, the Stride 29 Comp is designed to be lightweight and fast. The 29er wheels with alloy Sector rims and Maxxis tyres will easily roll over rocks, roots and any other obstacles the trail has to offer. With a 100mm travel fork being the choice of cross-country racers, the 100mm SR Suntour XCM suspension fork will offer a comfortable ride over longer distances. One key feature that gives this bike the Best In Class (BIC) advantage, is the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with centre lock rotors.   Like all our Aluminium frames, this one is also covered by our limited lifetime warranty. Integrated fender and rack mounts, means this bike is also a great option for commuting.

Hydro-formed 6061 Alloy frame

Stride Comp features a brand new frame focused on the sport XC market. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimising weight and excess material use. QR 135mm dropouts.

Kickstand mount

There is an integrated kickstand mount in the left rear chainstay. The addition of a kickstand is neat and uncomplicated. We suggest using the Speedkit kickstand for non-e-bikes. The disc Brake calliper mounted inside the rear triangle to protect it from environmental damage, while also acting as a brace, improving strength around the dropout and kickstand mount.

Low Standover

Lower standover means that the Stride can be ridden by both male and female riders with more room for movement. This improves control and confidence on technical sections. Also allows for a longer dropper post to be used.

Pop Geometry

Position of Power -Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedalling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.

Tapered headtube

A Tapered headtube increases front-end stiffness and directly influences steering feel and precision. This also means that the Stride range is compatible with all modern forks if you would want to upgrade your suspension.

I own a silverback stride 29 HD9 for past 4 months. I purchased this from Abu Dhabi mall. I am very satisfied with it. It is light weight and strong. I enjoy riding it in Abu Dhabi city and corniche.
