PROVINCIAL SERIES TO BUILD TOWARDS HIS UPCOMING INTERNATIONAL RACES.
SA Cup #4
Luke Moir wins the fourth round of the Western Cape Provincial Series. This Silverback athlete is currently training towards his upcoming international races.
Luke’s strategy for the provincial race was to race as fast as possible from the gun. His aim was to catch up with the Elite riders who started 2 minutes in front of him.
Riding the Silverback STRATOS SBC, Luke pushed hard throughout the race.
SA Cup #3
The 2019 SA CUP #3 kicked off in Bloemfontein on Saturdays the 20th March 2019.
‘I been looking forward to racing the Silverback Stratos at this race for a while. The track was super rough, dusty, rocky and technical’ said Luke Moir after winning the 3rd round of the SA National Series at Happy Valley in Bloemfontein on the weekend.
Luke managed to take the lead on the first lap with a crazy overtaking manoeuvre on a rock drop and never looked back. He pushed the Stratos on the downhills, gaining a few seconds every lap. The win solidifies Luke’s leading position in the National Series with three races to come.
‘I am proud to be riding this bike, it not only looks the part but rides so well, I am feeling really fast on it’ says Luke.
Luke travels to Windhoek Namibia this coming weekend for a Junior World Series Race. Thereafter he will be representing South Africa at the African Continental Championships. This race will be held the following weekend at the same venue.
