An international, award-winning Bicycle Design company with our headquarters situated in Stuttgart, Germany. Founded in 2004 with the mission to develop the best bikes at the best price using proprietary technologies only
OUR BEST IN CLASS ETHOS
The BIC Metric or “Best In Class Metric” is how we develop the best possible bike. We believe in delivering the best price/specification/quality ratio in the industry. BIC means that Silverback customers get the most desirable technology at an affordable price. These metrics include: frame design, weight, bike finish & aesthetics and specifications all at the right price. These decisions are based in the science of design, and careful calculations leads us. Bike for bike, model for model, to offer the best value proposition than any other brand in the world.
— The ARD (Advanced Riding Dynamics) equation encompasses our core value. Which is to deliver a ride that has the best qualities for the given platform of bike at the given price. Correctly chosen parts help to make the bike perform admirably at its intended task, and our attention to detail shows in the final result. Frame, fork and wheels are key elements to enhancing the ride quality of any bicycle. We endeavor to design and specify these components in such a way that whether you are a road- or mountain bike rider, you receive a bike without any compromises. Staying true to the ARD Equation: Frame, Fork and Wheels, added to that the calculated spec of all the other components, we will continue to offer a bike with unparalleled Riding Dynamics. —
Qualitative process of research, design, testing as well as refinement.
Setting trends in design to offer the best-looking bike for your experience.
Carefully chosen components mean more bike at less cost.
Proprietary molds and design save weight for better performance.
Scientific formula developed by Silverback to keep costs down.
We pride ourselves as being a future forward, cutting edge company. Therefore we use engineering and suspension design software such as SolidWorks and Linkage. This assists our designers in developing world-class frame designs.
Silverback 3D Printing
Furthermore, to enhance the capabilities of the product design team. Silverback has invested in a Rapid Prototyping Programme. This first purchase of this programme was a state-of-the-art 3D printer. This allows the product team to print our design components to test out aesthetics and functionality. Again, this rapid prototyping allows is to speed up the design and development process, and to develop the best possible bikes.
