SBC POWER TRANSFER BB FORMATION
The BB area is made as large as possible, the down tube utilizes the full BB width for maximum stiffness and acceleration. This is helped by use of the FSA BB386EVO system.
SILVERBACK SIZE SPECIFIC FORK GEOMETRY
52mm fork offset on small frame sizes creates a stable ride feel in combination with the short wheel- base while providing more toe to front wheel clearance. Medium to extra large sizes use a 43mm fork offset to create responsive and balanced handling at all speeds, whether climbing or descending.
INTERNAL ROUTED DUAL GROUP TECHNOLOGY
Both Di2 and mechanical cabling are internally compatible on this frame by use of multi-function cable entrance guides. These guides include varying plates that are bolted in to the frame as either gear housing stops, or as a Di2 cable holder for seamless integration.
COMFORT REAR STAYS
Thin seat stays in round profiles are unidirectional in stiffness for great responsiveness, yet remain light and comfortable, perfect for long road rides in the mountains.
COMPACT RACE GEOMETRY
A shorter seat tube lowers the top tube junction forming a tighter front triangle for all sizes. This results in a lower weight and increased stiffness over a standard front triangle size. The longer seatpost extension enhances ride comfort. On larger sizes the chain stays are longer promoting better stability and comfort for taller riders.
STIFF LIGHTWEIGHT TUBING
Using tubing shapes that combine rounded corners and straighter sides, minimises carbon material used for great weight saving over squarer profiles, while retaining directional stiffness properties of squarer shaped tubing.
